The world is embracing blockchain technologies and Africa has a lot of potential in using them for progress in different fields. Mr. Kiberu explains the transformational impact this 4th industrial revolution can have in shaping the future of finance in Africa. He mentions concepts like decentralisation, immutable, bitcoin, cryptocurrency, tokens, consensus, peer-to-peer and ledger which are fundamental to the blockchain revolution.
Mr. Michael Kiberu is a blockchain and cybersecurity expert from Uganda who has founded several initiatives like KIPYA that offers cryptocurrency trading, consultations and youth training. He is a forerunner in the push for the adoption of blockchain technologies in Africa.
